About The Seminar:
The atmosphere of the seminar will be very relaxed, friendly and informal, with participants made to feel at home. In the setting of the magnificent Redwood Forest, Steve and his hand-picked team will hold daily classes, covering a range of topics from theory and improvisation to performing. There will be general discussions on art and craft where you can ask all the questions you wish, plus receive personal help with Steve's books and lesson programs. We'll also squeeze in some outdoor activities, including a nature hike down to the beautiful Eel River. If you can imagine having the best time possible with quality learning thrown in to boot, this is it!!
There will be a campfire concert and jam session each evening, where you can participate, or just listen, if you wish (but we hope you'll want to prepare some things to play!).
This will be a noncompetitive environment of sharing knowledge and gaining fresh perspectives. Players of all levels are welcome, even beginners won't feel out of place. We recommend that you begin working with Steve's startup material as preparation for the classes. (see list below)
